Description
The mask is complete, with no damage, and includes all straps along with the filter.
The filter is in very good condition, with its original paint.
The mask is heavily stamped, with "BMW 44" on the mask's nosepiece, "BYD" on the rubber part, and the Waffenamt
(WaA) marking inside.
The lenses are stamped "BYD 1944."
The can is in excellent condition, with over 90% of the original paint remaining. The interior of the can is stamped
"HNZ 1943."
The fastener is stamped "FRN 44."
The set comes with a short strap attached to the can.
Both the can and mask form an integral set, signed with the same soldier's number.
